MEDITATION

To find calm and serenity

Meditation and Mindfulness are linked by a thin thread of life: the breath. Whenever we place our attention on the breath, we ask our mind to be silent because the priority is to observe what keeps us alive. SIMPLE, right? Yes it is.

However, we must train for this and a good training implies perseverance, desire, practice.

Of course, five minutes a day will not be enough to "get used to" observation of the breath because life leads us to look elsewhere, to put our focus on work, relationships, driving the car, running to the supermarket ...

Instead, Mindfulness tells us:

"STOP, SIT AND BREATHE:
STAY THERE WITH WHAT YOU ARE AND EVERYTHING YOU ARE IS OK "

Breathing in, I calm the body and mind. Breathing out, I smile. Dwelling in the present moment, I know this is the only moment.

Thich Nhat Hanh

Learn to connect with the silence within yourself and understand that everything in this life has a purpose.
Elizabeth Kübler-Ross

A moment of self-compassion can change your day. A series of similar moments can change the course of life .

Christopher Germer

In prayer we speak to God, while in meditation we listen to His answer.
Swami Kriyananda

Recognizing our emotions without judging or rejecting them, embracing them with awareness, is an act of returning home.

Thich Nhat Hanh

Trust the master's message, not his personality.
Trust the meaning, not the words.
Trust the real sense, not the temporary one.
Trust your wisdom mind, not the ordinary one that judges.

Buddha

Every day we are involved in a miracle that we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the curious black eyes of a child, our two eyes. Everything is a miracle.

Thich Nhat Hanh

A long way awaits the one who always blames others.

The one who always blames himself has already done half the way.

While the one who does not blame anyone has already arrived.

Said Buddhist

To meditate is to look deeply into the heart of things. "

Thich Nhat Hanh

The seed of genuine kindness, like the lotus flower,

it has the power to grow and blossom even in mud.

Real change always begins with small gestures:

nothing is more immense than the tiny seed of a kind thought.

A gentle thought that, with its evolutionary power, drop by drop,

digs even the hardest of rocks, that of hatred.

So let us not deprive ourselves of the satisfaction of responding with kindness to fear, rudeness, revenge, abuse, ignorance, violence, resentment.

Also for a matter of health and quality of life.

In the intimacy of our feeling we could start by being kind to ourselves.

Kindness everywhere. Even in silence. Among the notes of existence.

Kindness, doing good to yourself by doing good to others.

Everything we do selflessly,

without a profit and with the sole aim of making someone else feel good is kindness.

EMOTIONS, RELATIONS, LIFE

To re-connect serenely with oneself, others, the world

Life presents us with many events, situations, encounters, emotions; its course is not always light, at a happy pace. Sometimes there are setbacks, obstacles, difficulties.

And it is not obvious to constantly RE-DISCOVER THE BEAUTY of what one is, of what we give and receive from others, of the talents that flow into the world.

But of course, a sentence can accompany us step by step:

"LIVE NOW.
YOU HAVE ALREADY LIVED THE FIRST.
YOU WILL LIVE IT AFTER "

If we put off happiness until we have solved our problems or achieved our goals, the best that can happen to us is that we give up on living.

There is no light without shadows and there is no psychic fullness without imperfections. Life requires not perfection but fullness for its fulfillment. Without imperfection there is neither progress nor growth.

Where is beauty found?

In the great things that, like the others, are destined to die or in the small ones that, without any pretense, know how to set a gem of infinity in the moment?

Because from now on, for you, I will go in search of always in never.
Beauty here in this world.

but accept it as it goes:

so you will be serene.

Happiness is cultivated. True happiness, the one capable of making us grasp in every moment of the day the mysterious and incredible strength that we keep within us, is closer than we believe and the right words help us to (re) find it.

Wellness is the foundation of this Universe.
Well-being is the basis of everything.
It flows up to you and passes through you.
You just have to allow it.
As with the air you breathe, you just have to open up, relax and absorb it into your being.

Meditation has an important ingredient: constancy in practice.
Try every day to "throw the inner eye" into awareness, with the intention of dedicating 5 - 10 minutes initially.

But ... treat yourself well:

I use the sound of a Tibetan bell, mantra music (you can also listen to it in streaming), a comfortable pillow for me, possibly in natural material ...
